TURN Team Memberships

How to Invite Someone to Your TURN Team Account

Your TURN membership includes 6 team seats. You take one as the account Owner, which leaves 5 to share with your team. Here's how to invite them.

Part 1: Get your team invite link

  • Go to the UPPERROOM website and click TURN ACCOUNT in the top right corner of the TURN page.
  • On the "Welcome to TURN." screen, click Login.
  • Enter the email address and password for your TURN account, then click Log in.
  • You'll land on your account page, "Welcome to your Account."
  • Click Manage Profile to open your account settings.
  • In the left-hand menu, click the Team tab.
  • At the top you'll see your seat count — it starts at 1/6 Seats, since you're using one as the Owner.
  • Click the Copy button next to the invite link. The button will confirm with "Copied!"
  • Send that link to the person you want to add — email, text, or however you normally reach your team.

Tip: Treat the invite link like a password. Anyone who has it can claim one of your 6 seats. If it ever gets shared too widely, click Regenerate Invite Link to invalidate the old one.

Part 2: What your team member does

  • They open the link you sent, and land on a page that says "You have been invited to join a TURN Team Account!"
  • They fill in their Name, Email, and a Password.
  • They click Create account.
  • That's it — they're taken straight to their own TURN account page, with access to the UPPERROOM cloud and the private resources reserved for TURN members.

Note: They use their own TURN login and password for UPPERROOM cloud access. They don't need your credentials for anything.

Part 3: Confirm the seat was claimed

  • Back on your own account, open Manage Profile again and click the Team tab.
  • Your seat count will now read 2/6 Seats, with the new person listed as a MEMBER below your Owner row.
  • Repeat for up to 4 more people.

Managing your team later

  • Removing someone: click the red next to their name in the Team list. That frees their seat for someone else.
  • What members can see: members get Profile, Security, and Plans in their settings — no Team tab. Only the Owner can invite or remove people.
  • On a member's Plans tab: they'll see "TURN Team Membership" listed, along with a Leave Team option if they ever want to step out on their own.
